Mtv Express: unplugged show

THE TIDE CHECKING SERBIA

In one week you can find us in Serbia's capital Belgrade, where we will be shooting for MTV Express.
We have made acoustic arrangements for few of our songs, this time it will truly be WITHOUT any electricity!

The show will be premiered at MTV this autumn.
Apart from shooting the show, The Tide plans to use the trip to further promote our record Kings of the hill around ex-Yu. The goal of course is to come back to Belgrade and other countries with our gear and to play as much shows as possible.

Live show behind the radio

The Tide are returning to perform some gigs in March, presenting their Kings of the hill album.

Starting on March 5th in Kranjska Gora (FIS Ski World Cup), The Tide wil be playing live at 17.00p.m.
For those of you who can't make it to Kranjska Gora, The Tide's FIS World cup show will be broadcasted LIVE on Slovenia's national radio VAL 202 (98.9Mhz).

They also plan a gig in Celje March 25th in Metropol.

Live on national television

The Tide will perform this Sunday, Jaruary 9th on national Slovenian television at the NLP show LIVE!!!

Their performance will be on around 6.00 pm and the band decided to keep the name of their live song a secret.
So please tune in to RTVSLO1 on Sunday to listen & watch THE TIDE LIVE!

Become King of the year 2010!

The Tide have started a competition for the best designed cover of their new album Kings of the hill, which you can design on their website www.thetide.si .

The band set up new design elements and backgrounds suitable for this time of year.
DESIGN YOUR UNIQUE ALBUM COVER AND WIN!!!

Apart from distributing bigger and smaller awards The Tide will also give the winner
KING OF THE TIDE 2011 / 1 free ticket for every The Tide show in the next year!!!

Competition starts today and ends on 30th December at 12.00am on www.thetide.si

You will be judged by the whole country of Slovenia or maybe even the whole world
Judging is being done on our website www.thetide.si and the judges are all the visitors. It's possible for anyone to be a judge, from your friends, schoolmates, aunts, uncles, dogs, cats... well, scratch the last two... :)

BY PARTICIPATING WE HELP:
buying mobile drilling equipment necessary to locate new water sources and water supplying of the civilians. The price for such an equipment is 90.000,00 Euros. Some of the money has been raised all over the world via various actions, now you can add your share as well.

Your contribution for the drilling water rig and cameras - 10 EURO.
