New music video out now. The Tide are Ready To Go...
Again we teamed up with director Miha Knific, Aljoša Korenčan as director of photography, and the rest of production team from Start Film Production. Filming lasted only one day on four different locations with 30+ extras. The result is stunning black&white masterpiece, which had it's debut airing on 14th November on MTV.
On 15th November we will launch new single and video READY TO GO.
The video premiere will take place the day before, on November 14th at 20.00 CET on MTV. The usual production team lineup (Start film production, director Miha Knific, director of photography Aljoša Korenčan) does not bring out the message that came from all of us who have been involved in the production of the video.
And the message from us to you is : it will probably be our best video so far, which is saying something as most of our video clips have been very positively recieved so far. More than thirty extras, black&white design, the first story-carrying video for The Tide, yet still supporting the music... in short, from the initial idea till the final mix - excellent!

One of the award-winning photos from this year’s Trnfest was also a photo shot by Mankica Kranjec. She commented about the photo and her inspiration: “When I listen to their music, it always takes my thoughts somewhere far away… and when I hear them perform live, I get a feeling that they are playing for themselves, but at the same time also for each and every listener at the show.”
During the busy and successful August, we captured many pictures which you can see at our "Photo" section. You are also invited to check newly added "After parties" section - that's where you can see what The Tide are usually doing off-stage.
In one week you can find us in Serbia's capital Belgrade, where we will be shooting for MTV Express. We have made acoustic arrangements for few of our songs, this time it will truly be WITHOUT any electricity!
The show will be premiered at MTV this autumn. Apart from shooting the show, The Tide plans to use the trip to further promote our record Kings of the hill around ex-Yu. The goal of course is to come back to Belgrade and other countries with our gear and to play as much shows as possible.

The Tide is releasing their 3rd single named Letters from the other side from their current album Kings of the hill. After Snow! and Decline now we feel it is time for messages from the other worlds. If they exist, messages from those places must also exist, unless they are only in our minds. "Virtual love or true loss" are the guidelines that capture this song. Check our radio player.

The Tide are returning to perform some gigs in March, presenting their Kings of the hill album.
Starting on March 5th in Kranjska Gora (FIS Ski World Cup), The Tide wil be playing live at 17.00p.m. For those of you who can't make it to Kranjska Gora, The Tide's FIS World cup show will be broadcasted LIVE on Slovenia's national radio VAL 202 (98.9Mhz).
They also plan a gig in Celje March 25th in Metropol.

But basically most of the new songs reaffirm The Tide's reputation as a 'slow' band, one that catches the waves of melancholy with both theatrically dramatic vocals and lyrics as well as with atmospheric keyboards and subtle instrumental lines. Kings of the Hill contains a premeditated mix of emotionally calm rock, already well-established with the band's debut album, along with newer and edgier tones found on some of its tracks, thus expanding The Tide's musical repetoire towards a very likable direction. The Tide will perform this Sunday, Jaruary 9th on national Slovenian television at the NLP show LIVE!!!
