The Tide have released two albums so far (Love&Trust - 2006 and Live&Clean - 2008), the latter being a live recording from a show named "Izštekani na Valu 202" - a show with host Jure Longyka on national Slovenian radio. The specter of band's creativity though reaches into other musical spheres - creating movie music for films En Natt (Sweden) and a couple of short movies in Slovenia (Horizont, The Cloud catcher). The Tide also participated in a street performance with a dance group called Mana, playing on the streets of Slovenia live and unplugged, not to mention that their music appeared in a number of commercials in Slovenia.

Cooperating with a creative video director and movie expert Miha Knific, so far The Tide has released four music videos (for the songs Carry on, Your river wild and Desire from their Love&Trust album). In september 2009, a new video for single Snow! , which will be presented on their second album, came out, raising much acclaim and serving as a teaser for the upcoming album, as well as promotion for the short movie Cloud catcher. All the band's videos have been premiered on MTV and shown around Slovenia's TV stations succesfully. The band has also been busy playing live - in addition to many shows they even arranged their own Slovenian "Soul out" tour with Canadian artist Neil Leyton&The Ghosts.

The Tide states that main focuses when it comes to creation process are harmony, melody and lyrics' meaning, combining them together as well as possible and according to the band's liking. This approach is also visible and especially audible on The Tide's live shows, where the band adds another two important ingriedients - live spontaneous feeling and communication with the audience.

One could say that The Tide live sounds energetic as well as theatrical. Their shows often include video projections featuring special art video clips made and designed for a special song. The Tide used this whole audio/video approach to perform on some of Slovenia's greatest festivals (festivals Lent, Zmaj 'ma mlade, Kamfest, Carniola, Teden mladih and HIT Ski Challenge).

The Tide's music genre tries to remain distant to normal pop-rock trends, though they still don't want to break up that connection completely, just alter it and design it to their own needs. Their music is by the majoritiy of the critics' opinions multi-layered and meant to be heard more-than-once to really get the whole idea.

In the fall of 2010 you The Tide released their third album, which promises to be more aggresive and crude, yet still poetical. "Kings of the hill" are here!
